Design Systems & Digital Architecture

About the Role

Join the product team to design intuitive, beautiful interfaces for Imperio Railing's digital products — including a dealer portal, customer-facing configurator, and internal tools.

You will create pixel-perfect mockups and interactive prototypes that meet the same standard of precision as our physical products.

This is a role for someone who appreciates the beauty of a perfectly aligned grid, the clarity of a well-defined typographic scale, and the necessity of structural consistency across complex workflows.

Responsibilities

Wireframing & Prototyping
Design wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile — ensuring logical flow and structural integrity.
Design System Maintenance
Build and maintain a component and design system in Figma, treating components as modular building blocks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work seamlessly with developers to ensure the exact translation of visual specifications into functional code.
Usability Reviews
Conduct basic usability reviews, gather feedback, and incorporate findings into design iterations.

Requirements

Figma Mastery

Strong Figma skills — auto-layout, components, variants, and design tokens.

UX Principles

Understanding of hierarchy, affordance, accessibility, and interaction design fundamentals.

Portfolio

At least one screen-based UI project in your portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking.

Mandatory Requirement

AI UI/UX Tools

Basic or above proficiency in Figma AI, Galileo AI, Uizard, or equivalent. Ability to use AI to accelerate wireframing and prototyping is required.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with design tokens or developer handoff (Zeplin, Storybook)
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge

Duration: 3 – 6 months; Flexible, default expectation is 6 months
